International Shipping
How specimens are packed, documented and shipped worldwide.
Secure Packing
Collector-grade protection for every specimen.
Every specimen is individually protected before shipment. Shells are carefully wrapped with soft protective material and secured inside a rigid box to minimize movement and impact during transit. Fragile specimens may receive additional internal support depending on their size, shape and structure.
Each parcel is checked before dispatch and packed according to the fragility of the specimen.
Vietnam Post — Registered Small Packet
Most ShellBidder orders are shipped using Vietnam Post Registered Small Packet, a practical international postal service for lightweight specimen orders. Each shipment includes a tracking number once dispatched.
- Maximum parcel weight: 2 kg
- Tracking number provided after dispatch
- Suitable for most shell specimen orders
- Delivery time varies depending on destination and customs processing
- Final delivery may be handled by the postal service of the destination country
Shipping Cost
Shipping charges are calculated according to the destination country, parcel weight and selected postal service. The final shipping charge will be confirmed before payment.
Typical small-packet shipping: approximately €10–€30, depending on destination and parcel weight.
This is an estimate only. Actual postage may vary depending on destination, weight, postal zone, current postal rates and carrier surcharges.
Express Shipping
Express delivery may be available on request through EMS, DHL or another courier, depending on the destination.
Express shipping is quoted separately according to the destination, parcel size, weight and carrier availability.
Tracking Your Order
Once your parcel has been dispatched, the tracking number will appear in your ShellBidder account. International postal tracking may continue through the postal operator of the destination country after the parcel leaves Vietnam.
Tracking availability and scan frequency may vary depending on the postal operator and destination country.
Customs & Documentation
International shipments may be subject to customs inspection, import duties, taxes or local import regulations in the destination country. Any applicable import duties, taxes or other import charges are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise stated.
ShellBidder aims to provide accurate specimen information and appropriate shipment documentation. Specimens subject to legal trade, wildlife or import/export restrictions will only be shipped where the applicable requirements can be met.
Important Note
Shipping charges and delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on destination, parcel weight, postal rates, carrier surcharges and customs processing.
